Preserve Description
Oakzanita has the perfect climate to spend your summer! 4,000 feet in elevation gives you warm days and comfortable nights. Relax and enjoy our weekend activities, weekend camper breakfast and the pools to cool you down. Clean restrooms, lodge area, and free WiFi access, along with Verizon and Sprint cell service on the park. We have a small camp store with basic camping supplies, novelties and ice. Our small location offers a friendly staff eager to make your visit relaxing and fun!
Our location is perfect if you live in San Diego, just 45 minutes from downtown. If you are visiting San Diego we are just 45 minutes from all the great attractions San Diego has to offer! If you enjoy fishing, Cuyamaca lake is just 15 minutes away, or hike the Cuyamaca state park trails which are endless starting right off our property.
We have many great programs to offer fitting everyone’s needs! Annual sites, monthly extended stay, guest camping, rally groups, and horse campsites are all available at Oakzanita! For more information call Sheila at 619-609-1927!
Some summer safety reminders to make your visit a great one: Only pressed logs and charcoal fires are allowed during the summer and fall months due to high fire danger. Please make sure anyone under 18 years old remembers their bicycle helmets for bikes and scooters. Unfortunately, due to the terrain no skateboards are allowed.
