THEME WEEKENDS 2009!

May 23 -25 - Memorial Day – have a barbeque, beach comb, ride the dunes, and stroll along the riverside in Old Town.



June 8-12 - Third annual Line Dance Festival. Put on your best kicks. We’ll have guaranteed fun for all ages and levels.

June 21 - Happy Fathers Day. Bring dad in for a free sundae.



July 3  - July 5 - Fourth of July celebration at South Jetty. Enjoy a bike and pet decoration contest. Find that favorite spot on the coast to watch fireworks over Florence Bay.

 

July 11 - 12 – Death by Chocolate – But you’re really in heaven because it’s all chocolate, all weekend. Bring your favorite chocolate recipe and win a prize. Chocolate pasta?  It could happen!! Music on Saturday night by Hired Hands.

July 18 – 19 - Country and Western Weekend. Put your best kicks on once again and the Oregon Old Time Fiddlers will play on Saturday night.

August 1 -2 - Wet and Wild Weekend. Water games for all ages. We'll have relay races and an assortment of fun pool games.

 

August 15 -16 - Share the Wealth – This weekend we share with each other our knowledge and life experience. Give a class on investing, herb gardening on the road, computers, smartphone use, or RV cooking. Think you’re an expert? Sign up at the Ranger Station before 7/18.

August 29 – 30 - Explore the Dunes. Come enjoy the South Jetty dunes with Sandland Adventures in their giant sand buggies or bring your own sand rig. Bass fish right off a sandy beach or hike the many trails along the coast. We’ll have all the info you need.


September 5 – 6 - Labor Day Weekend End of Summer Blowout. Come and enjoy the last weekend of the summer at South Jetty. We have games and crafts and prizes for every age. Pool games, skins versus shirts on the BB court, and a pickleball tournament will be highlights.

September 18-20 - Fall Shootout Pool Tournament. Friday 18th Jack-n-Jill, Saturday 19th doubles, and Sunday 20th singles.
