Dear Blue Mesa Recreational Ranch Members,
On behalf of our entire team, it is my pleasure to introduce you to Thousand Trails. We are very excited to add Blue Mesa Recreational Ranch to the Thousand Trails family of membership campgrounds.
Founded in 1969, Thousand Trails has been proudly owning and operating membership campgrounds for more than 50 years. In that time, the company has built a network of more than 80 Thousand Trails campgrounds with over 24,000 sites across 21 states and British Columbia. Thousand Trails is also affiliated with an exclusive reciprocal network that provides access to a truly outstanding network of more than 120 additional campgrounds nationwide.
At Thousand Trails, we have long admired the facilities and operation at Blue Mesa Recreational Ranch, and we look forward to continuing the traditions established by the Blue Mesa staff and members. As part of this transition, your membership benefits at Blue Mesa Recreational Ranch will remain the same. Additionally, we look forward to offering you opportunities to expand those benefits to take advantage of the breadth of the Thousand Trails network and reciprocal network with offers exclusive to Blue Mesa members.
Rest assured that Blue Mesa will still provide the experience you have come to know and love when you return this spring. You’ll continue to see many familiar faces among the staff, including Lynne Berry leading the team. We recognize that a change of ownership can lead to many questions, and we’ve addressed a number of anticipated questions following this letter. In the coming weeks you can look forward to additional communication on our transition process and opportunities to expand your membership privileges within Thousand Trails.

Thousand Trails/Blue Mesa Frequently Asked Questions
Are the terms of my membership changing?
No. All terms of your existing membership will remain the same. You will be offered additional membership opportunities to expand your camping options through the Thousand Trails network of campgrounds.
Will the associate memberships still be honored?
Yes. All terms of your existing membership will remain the same. Associate members will also be afforded the opportunity to expand their membership with Thousand Trails.
Will there be changes to the campground operating dates?
No. Blue Mesa Recreational Ranch will still be open from May 1 through September 30, as you have come to expect.
Is my Thousand Trails member number the same as my Blue Mesa member number?
No, a new 9-digit membership number will be assigned to you. You should receive this information by mail shortly.
How will I make reservations going forward?
Once you have your new member number, all reservations for Blue Mesa Recreational Ranch will be made by visiting ThousandTrails.com and logging into your member portal. You can also call Member Services at (800) 388-7788 to make reservations.
How do I log into ThousandTrails.com?
Once you have your new member number, you can set up your online access using the following link:
https://members.thousandtrails.com/recover. You will then enter your new member number. An email will be sent to the email address on file for the member. Click the link to verify your account and set your access pin. If no email address is on file, please contact Member Services at (800) 388-7788 for help setting your pin and updating your email address.
Will the dues be changing?
Dues payments will remain the same.
How do I pay dues or other payments (principle, notes, etc.) to Thousand Trails?
Please send payments to: THOUSAND TRAILS, PO BOX 29352, PHOENIX AZ 85038-9352. In the upcoming weeks, you will receive a statement and additional information.
Does my membership now include access to all Thousand Trails campgrounds?
No, however, you will have the opportunity to expand your membership to gain access to some or all Thousand Trails campgrounds, depending on membership level. More information on an exclusive offer for Blue Mesa members will be coming soon. You may also choose to remain at your current membership level with access to only Blue Mesa Recreational Ranch.
